We have never been in town for the 4th of July! This year we had no idea what to even do. Our ward always has an annual breakfast at 7:30 at the park so we decided that would be fun. It would also get us up and going. It was fun for the kids (and adults) to have water games and play before the hot hot sun set it. (It was like 113 yesterday)
We only spent a couple of hours at the park and then it was time to head home for Devin's nap and a swim in the pool.
I took so many fun pictures of our ward breakfast get together but put our camera in my pocket and I lost every single picture and video on our memory card. Uuuggghh!! All the cute pictures and videos of the boys gone. I was so sad..But, no reason for crying over spilt milk right? We can always take more and start new memories.
We decided to have friends over yesterday afternoon for a Swim party, BBQ & a rond of Karaoke. David and I love to Karaoke. Not that we can sing or anything but we have fun trying.
Kobe was excited to have some friends over to swim with and to play with.
I think all the guys: David, Lee , Jeff and the boys all had a good time swimming. The girls hung out and talked. (Wouldn't that be what we would do?) It was a lot of fun.
Kobe, Caden & Benson are all about the same age and had a blast playing together all night. Devin & Mason are only a month apart and that is fun!!
Dinner was fun and turned out yummy!! After dinner we all had fun with the PS2 Karaoke game. No one had ever done that and we got everyone to do at least 2 rounds before it got too late and the kids needed to get in bed. After a quick piece of all american apple pie we called it a night. We all had a great time on the 4th of July.
